Requiem for a Dream

A Tragic story of a girls pursuit of Perfection and the constant need to Impress her piers which leads to her having Hallucinations and more seriously a Mental Breakdown with the amount of pressure she was put under by her piers and the pressure she pushed upon herself.
as the film comes to an end she utters the words 'I felt it.... I felt... I was Perfect' as she lay dying after she performed with a rapturous applause from the audience after she 'jumped' from the cliff top in Swan Lake and the film closes with the audience left wondering 'Did she die ? or was it merely another Hallucination ?'.
